Gina lectures at a new hippotherapy facility

In Saudi Arabia

At the beginning of this month I spend 10 days in Saudi Arabia teaching therapists about the use of horses in their medical practice at Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Humanitarian City. The hospital was completing construction on a new hippotherapy facility and six horses had been moved in for the course. 17 therapists attended the course and a PT colleague of mine presented a lecture to the hospital administration and staff. The horses used for therapy included retired showjumpers and race horses and I provided education on the needs of horses that are trained to work in the discipline of hippotherapy. During our trip, we were able to see one of the Princess' stables, downtown Riyadh and go off-roading to hike to the "edge of the world". It was an amazing trip!
